Let’s Rock Norwich – The Retro Festival

June 24: Earlham Park, Norwich

Journey back through the music decades, with performances by Bananarama, Nik Kershaw and Kim Wilde, this one-day-only rock festival will feature music from the 70s, 80s and 90s.

Up to 15,000 people are expected to attendee this years event, hosted at Norwich for the first time.

As well as music, there will also be lots of entertainment for children, including circus workshops and a funfair.

Tickets: Adults, £38.50. Children (under 13), £19.80.

 

Latitude

July 13–16: Henham Park, near Southwold

Arts, music, poetry, theatre, comedy – Latitude has it all for the ultimate summer party!

Now in its 12th year, the festival is still going strong with just a handful of this years artists including Mumford and Sons, The 1975, Fatboy Slim, as well as comedy by Dara O’Briain.

VW Whitenoise Festival

August 3-6: Euston Park

The ideal music and arts festival for motoring enthusiasts. This family friendly event plays host to the iconic VW campervan. Visitors can bring there own VW campers or just turn up to explore the classic motor alongside music performances including DJ Cheeba, The Allergies, Beach Boys UK, The Future Dub Project and The Sweet Beats.

Reepham Summer Music Festival

August 12-13: various venues, Reepham

This laid back festival hidden in the heart of the beautiful picturesque Norfolk countryside is host to a variety of music, from acoustic to alternative, blues, classical, Celtic, folk, jazz, pop and rock – its guaranteed to suit everyone’s music tastes making it perfect for the family.

Now on its 10th year, the festival will headline The Beat as well as showcase a variety of tributes brands including Thin Lizzy.

V Festival

August 19-20: Hylands Park, Chelmsford

One of the country’s biggest music events on the list – and it’s not difficult to see why.

With a line-up including Jay Z, Pink, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding, Craig David, Jess Glyne, Jason Derulo, Madness, Sean Paul, James Arthur, Clean Bandit, Dizzee Rascal, Sigma and Stormzy *and breathe* performing this year – what are you waiting for?!

Sundown Festival

September 1-3: Norfolk Showground, Norwich

Probably one of the best known festivals in East Anglia for bringing big name artists in pop, urban and dance music to the stage right on your doorstep, Sundown Festival in Norwich it set for another amazing summer.

Set up back in, it attracted around 40,000 people last year, with this years set to be bigger than ever with appearances by Rag ‘n’ Bone Man, Craig David, Jonas Blue, Pendulum, Wiley, X Factor winner Louisa Johnson, John Newman and Disciples.
