Yes, I know I’m only writing this in September and the idea of autumn has only just sprung on everyone else’s mind, but when The Body Shop came out with their beauty advent calendar a few days ago, it was only a matter of time before more brands released their version.
The trend began back in 2014 when Benefit released an advent calendar filled with some of the brand best selling products in mini and deluxe sample sizes. Beauty gurus went crazy over it and has therefore got virtually every beauty brand jumping on the band wagon – from high end to drugstore.
Here’s the ultimate list of beauty advent calendars which are going to be releasing this year in the lead up to Christmas!
Oh K Beauty, £15 from Paperchase:
This is an ideal budget friendly beauty advent calendar for a young teen who is just starting to get into makeup and hair. Inspired by Korean beauty, the calendar includes a mini nail file, mini nail polish, mini nail glitter, 2D nail stickers, false eyelashes, an eyeshadow, lip gloss, BFF kit, hair ties, spiral hair ties, an eye tattoo and lip gloss ball.
