When the line was announced back in 2016 after Rihanna signed a deal with the Kendo division of LVMH (same company behind Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Cosmetics), it feels like beauty addicts have been waiting ages for get their hands on Rihanna’s Fenty beauty line.
The singer posted a glimpse of a highlight duo on Instagram earlier this month, and the line has officially launched today, September 8, in the UK – so what is in the collection?
According to Vanity Fair, the line includes 40 shades of foundation, as well as brushes in varying shapes and sizes, champagne, honey bronze, and gold highlighters, concealing-and-correcting sticks, blotting papers and white mattifying powder, and a single universal shimmery nude lip gloss – the products all ooze natural beauty and dewy skin vibes.
There will be a total of 91 different variations of Fenty Beauty products available for purchase.
The powder pink packaging, which takes a nod towards KKW Beauty pink, is designed in the shape of octagons with magnets along the side so that you can snap the products together into a honeycomb shape – handy!
This isn’t the first time Rihanna had made her mark on the beauty industry as she collaborated with MAC cosmetics on its Viva Glam lipsticks and launched her RiRi Hearts MAC collection back in 2013.
